Uniting Women at UA: Survey and Blog

Keondria Williams, Hannah Nicholson & Elisabeth Wyatt (F 3):
The purpose of our project is to provide an outlet  for a collaboration of all women of different backgrounds, races, and cultures at UA to come together and not only break former barriers of segregation, but to comfort one another in our individual struggles. Our goal is to unite all women on the campus of the University of Alabama and promote empowerment and inspiration. From our research and information, we built a blog on Tumblr as a positive outlet for women to connect and reach out. We are three women attending UA who each come from different backgrounds, life-styles, cultures, ages, races, and religious beliefs. We feel empowered to make a difference on our campus. Each of us want to continue the process of desegregation, and help women on campus to see their role in providing change because each one of us have an important contribution in establishing unity.
